Wavefront Corneal Molding

If you are contemplating laser surgery because you can’t see well far away, but you see well for reading, think Wavefront Corneal Molding!  Laser surgery works by reshaping the front of they eye, to the proper curve that allows the eye to focus clearly for driving.  Wavefront Corneal Molding is a reversible non-surgical approach to correcting mild to moderate myopia, and astigmatism.  We design a lens using our Wave System that has the curve that your eye needs to see clearly at far.  You would place these lenses on your eye just before bed, and remove them in the morning.  It gently reshapes your eyes while you sleep, so that you see clearly all day, and sometimes for up to three days.  To maintain the proper shape, the lens, which acts like a retainer, needs to be worn from every night to every third night.  Call our office for a free evaluation, to see if you are a candidate.
